The Human Body
Out of all the wonders in the world none compare to the human body. Their are many parts of the human body. The human body is divided into sections. These are called structures. the body consists of atoms, molecules, protein filaments, heart muscle cells and tissues. These are then classified into structures of the body such as: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems. All the structures come together to form the human body.
How to Keep Your Body Healthy
Keeping your body healthy is one of the most important things to remember in the world. the reason behind that is because you only get one. So you have to make sure you do everything you can to keep it healthy. That means that you have to eat healthy to prevent obesity and disease and possibly even death. You have to keep your hygiene up. Like daily teeth brushing to prevent breakage, gingivitis, plaque and bad breathe. Nobody likes a funky breath. You also have to exercise regularly to keep your body in shape. Walking and running are the simplest ways to exercise. To further you body activity they have other things to do like sports, dance and aerobics.
The Digestive System
The purpose of the digestive system is to ensure proper digestion and absorption of nutrients throughout the body. The first part of the digestive system is the oral cavity (mouth and teeth). They are commonly known for processing food. Food has to be broken digested through the digestive tubs before enter the body. the teeth physically breaks down the food for digestion better known as chewing. The roof of your mouth is formed by hard and soft palates located in the anterior front portion of the body. Without this system life is impossible without food and waterDiseases of the mouth can be gingivitis from not brushing your teeth. Smokers and alcoholics can catch cancer of the mouth. The Respiratory System The respiratory system is the most important system of the body. It is often referred to as our "LIFELINE".They serve as a air distributor and a gas exchanger. That means oxygen is supplied to the body and carbon dioxide is exiting your cells. this is a homeostatic mechanism. The organs are the nose, pharynx, trachea, bronchi and lungs. The trachea (windpipe)is the base and it has branchial tubes are attached. The gas exchange is between blood and air. Diffusion then occurs. You can get pneumonia and tuberculosis from a respiratory infections. These both can lead to death and should be taken seriously. The Circulatory System The circulatory system is the blood and the vessels. All the blood pumps from the heart and to the body. We have the left and right atrium and ventricles. THe left side pumps blood to the whole body so its bigger. We have oxygen rich and oxygen poor blood in our body. We have a huge vessel called the aorta where alot of our bodies blood is stored. Without this you couldn't live. Lack of blood leads to clotting which could further lead to amputation. A disease of the blood can be fatal. As you know AiDs can be transferred through blood that is deadly. The circulatory system works with other body system by pumping blood to them.
The Nervous System
The nervous system is a complex job. IT is what keeps you alive and healthy. Also known as the endocrine system. a nervous system disease is multiple sclerosis.. It weakens bones and nerves. The nervous system has a central, peripheral and autonomic system. It transmits information alowly by chemicals secreted by ductless glands in the bloodstream. if your nerves are messed up you might have problems gripping or holding on to things. you are a little weak and you might feel tingling in your body.
The Muscular System
The muscular system has to do with movement, posture, Fatigue and Heat Production. they make it possible for you to move around, stretch and eat. OUr bodies have millions of muscles in it. Each body part has muscles in it because you have to move. INjury is a huge factor in the muscle. Muscle tears are very serious. They can leave you hurt for a long time. i know from experience. Muscular movement occurs when chemical energy from nutrients molecules transferred to protein in each muscle. It works with other systems because we need each portion to move around correctly.
The Skeletal System
The skeletal system is all about bones. Bones are buried behind muscles and tissue to prevent breakage. It provides rigid framework and support for the whole body. It is painful to break a bone and you could be affected for life. Bones are living organs. And we have hundreds of bones on our bodies from large to small. There are long, short, flat and irregular bone lengths for parts of the body.
